A little break in the fic posting today. Unfortunately, one of our authors couldn't finish for the fest, but we have four amazing pieces of art that were drawn for their fic that we're displaying today.

These are totally amazing!! I'm so sorry that the fic didn't get finished, because these beautiful illustrations really make me want to read it. I love the way you incorporated the text into the pictures, because honestly they tell the story on their own. They're all wonderful, but I think my favorite is the first one, where Ginny is holding James. The hair on both Ginny and Teddy is so colorful and well done, and Baby James is almost glowing. On the other end of the spectrum, style-wise, the concluding comic strip of their first kiss gives us just enough detail, and the bare bones quality is also great. It really conveyed movement to me, somehow. Thanks to the moderators for sharing the art with us!

I adore the way you draw hair ♥ Ginny's and Teddy's hair in the first picture is so beautiful :D So many colours and I love how messy Teddy's hair is, and also that you draw it green ♥ the blue hair has become so common but green is an awesome colour too :D
I also really love the intimacy between James and Teddy in the wandshop and at night; they're really close and it's so lovely ♥ And the way James is gently cradling Teddy's head, so sweet. And the last image, the little row of panels - I love it! You really sense the urgency and passion between them and how much they want and it breaks my heart a little that James stops at the end, still clinging to him and stubbornly stating what he wants. ♥ Beautiful work. :)

The author said she's planning on finishing the story and posting it later, so there's hope we'll be able to read it someday. :)

I really envy your grasp on anatomy, all the positions look so natural! I love the way you added text to the pictures, and the colors you used and the sketchy quality, so many details add up to beautiful pieces of art! The 'our little secret' picture is my faveourite, it does seem secretive and intimate. It's so beautiful! Wonderful work!

This art is amazing and beautiful and just makes me wish the story had been finished! I really adore the art here and I especially love the kiss and how that's illustrated (the little whoosh as Teddy and James come together is so cute).

What fantastic pictures! It's a real shame that this story didn't get finished. I read the rough draft and it had real promise at that stage. These pictures really capture the sweet feeling of the early sections which I read. I really wish that I could read how the boys got from there to those lovely kissing pictures.

I love the way that you've incorporated the text into the pictures. The colours and the light are lovely. There's a brilliant feeling of secretiveness and bond to these images.

I love the kisses. Just fantastic. The way the boys move round each other. I really enjoyed looking at your great pictures, even without the story to go with them.

I love the colours in the first one, it makes the picture looks very whimsical! The way that you've blended the pictures with the words is great! What a great idea! Teddy and James look adorable together. And I love how they kiss passionately first but James breaks away. It looks really good!
